Visit of the Honorable Speaker of the Islamic Parliament to Pakistan

Dr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Honorable Speaker of the Islamic Parliament, arrived in Pakistan on 6 November 2025, accompanied by a delegation of parliament members. During his visit, he called on  Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, Yousuf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate and Acting President, and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly.

Dr. Ghalibaf also took part in two separate sessions with Pakistan’s economic stakeholders as well as political, religious, and intellectual figures, engaging in extensive discussions with participants.

On 8 November, the Speaker traveled to Karachi, where he met with provincial authorities and business leaders of the city. He also attended Friday prayers at the Yathrib Mosque in Karachi.
